63 new entries in the 2026 edition

63 places picked in person by Korea Post staff — listed by area, not ranked.

These are the 63 places that joined the “2026 Post Office Recommended Dining Guide”, published in June 2026. One in four of the edition’s 240 restaurants is new this year — and 68 places from the previous edition did not carry over. Staff at 37 post offices across Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam walk their own districts again each year, so the turnover is a fair reading of what has changed on the ground.

By region: 32 of the new entries are in Gyeongnam, 24 in Busan and 7 in Ulsan. The spread is wide rather than clustered — 14 of Busan’s 15 districts, 4 of Ulsan’s 5, and every one of Gyeongnam’s 18 cities and counties picked up at least one new name. In proportion, Ulsan changed the most: 7 of its 18 current entries are first-timers.

The clearest shift is in coffee and baking. 20 of the 63 new entries are cafés or bakeries — more than half of all 36 cafés in the 2026 edition, which means this category was largely rebuilt in one year. Korean restaurants follow with 30, then seafood with 9, and a handful of Japanese, Chinese and snack spots.
