Terms of Use

This is a courtesy translation; the Korean version prevails in case of any discrepancy.

These Terms govern the conditions of use of Ushulang (the “Site”) and the rights and obligations between the operator and users. By accessing the Site or using the information it provides, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 1 (Purpose)

The Site exists to provide a non-profit information service that visualizes the “2026 Post Office Recommended Dining Guide” released by the Busan Regional Postal Office, so that ordinary users can make use of it more easily.

Article 2 (Services provided)

• Displaying restaurant information by region (Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam) on a map
• Search by restaurant name or dish, and filters by category and price
• A favorites feature kept within your browser
• Distance-based sorting from your current location (“Around me”)
• Links to external map services such as Kakao Map and Naver Map

Article 3 (Accuracy of information and disclaimer)

• The restaurant information on the Site is organized from the original source, but hours, menus, prices and the like may change at the restaurant’s discretion without prior notice. It is the user’s responsibility to confirm by phone or otherwise before visiting.
• The Site makes no express or implied warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or currency of the restaurant information.
• The operator is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from use of the Site (such as a wasted visit due to incorrect information, or dissatisfaction with food quality or service).
• Use after moving to an external service via a map or directions link is governed by that service operator’s own terms.

Article 4 (Data source and copyright)

The original source of the restaurant information visualized on the Site is the “2026 Post Office Recommended Dining Guide”, published in June 2026 by the Busan Regional Postal Office. The Site is a reorganization of that material’s text on a map and search interface; it does not redistribute, offer for download, or print and distribute the original PDF file.

Copyright in the Site’s interface (code, design and structure) belongs to the operator. Non-commercial, personal viewing and sharing (such as sharing URLs) are freely permitted. Mass automated collection (scraping) of the restaurant information to redistribute it as a separate service is prohibited.

Article 5 (User obligations)

• Users must not engage in conduct that interferes with the normal operation of the Site (such as excessive automated requests, attempts to exploit security vulnerabilities, or attempts to post advertising content).
• Users must not use information obtained from the Site to insult restaurant operators or staff, or to spread false information.

Article 6 (Advertising)

To keep the Site running, a Google AdSense ad may appear at the bottom of the page. Ads do not appear over the main content, the map or the search results, and responsibility for ad content lies with the advertiser.

Article 7 (Changes to or suspension of the service)

The operator may add, change or suspend the Site’s features without prior notice. However, information stored in the user’s browser — such as the user’s favorites data — remains under the user’s control regardless of any change made by the operator.

Article 8 (Protection of personal data)

Matters concerning the handling of personal data on the Site follow the separate Privacy Policy.

Article 9 (Governing law and dispute resolution)

Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and matters concerning the competent court follow the general principles of the Civil Procedure Act.
